Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (GDPR)


This document describes how the site is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of users who consult it.


This information is provided pursuant to EU Regulation no. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data. The purpose of this information is to describe the characteristics of the processing carried out in relation to the personal data provided by the Data Subject and the measures taken in order to protect their rights.

Purpose of the processing
The processing connected to the web services of this site takes place at Corso Valdocco 2, Turin-Italy and are handled only by the technical staff of the Office in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.


No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated.


The personal data provided by users who submit requests for information material (answers to questions, requests for commercial offers, consultations, etc.) and commercial relationships in general are used for the sole purpose of performing the service or provision requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for this purpose.


Processing and storage methods
The processing will be carried out in automated and/or manual form, in compliance with the provisions of art. 32 of GDPR 2016/679 on security measures, by persons specifically appointed and in compliance with the provisions of art. 29 GDPR 2016/ 679.


Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier)
addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.


Profiling data
Profiling data regarding the habits or consumption choices of the data subject are not directly acquired. However, it is possible that through links or by incorporating elements of third parties, such information may be acquired by independent or separate parties. In this regard, please refer to the section on third-party cookies.


Cookies
Like others, this website stores cookies on the browser used by the user concerned to transmit personal information and to enhance the user's experience. In fact, cookies are small text strings that the sites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored, sometimes even with characteristics of long time persistence, to be then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit.

Transfer of personal data
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data to request the sending of informative material or other communications.
Pursuant to articles 9 and 10 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, data that can be qualified as "special categories of personal data" may be provided to the Company (Pedemontis s.r.l.), i.e. those data that reveal "racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a person's sex life or sexual orientation." 

These categories of data may be processed only with the free and explicit consent of the user in writing.
Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.
Personal data will not be transferred to Member States of the European Union or to third countries outside the European Union.
Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.


Rights of the data subject
At any time, the user may exercise, pursuant to articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, the right to:
a) ask for confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their personal data;
b) obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the
personal data have been or will be communicated and, when possible, the retention period;
c) obtain the rectification and deletion of data;
d) obtain the restriction of processing;
e) obtain data portability, i.e. receive them from a data controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and transmit
them to another data controller without hindrance;
f) object to the processing at any time and also in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes;
g) object to automated decision-making relating to natural persons, including profiling.
h) ask the data controller for access to the personal data and the rectification or deletion of the same or the limitation of the processing concerning
him/her or to object to their processing, in addition to the right to data portability;
i) revoke consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal;
j) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.


The user may exercise his/her rights by written request sent by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt or by certified e-mail to the Data Controller.
